This policy describes the information this website uses to provide accounts, email verification, property bookings, and customer support.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, username when provided, and a one-way password hash. Verification codes are stored as hashes and expire after 15 minutes. Booking requests include the property, dates, guest count, amount, booking status, and payment request status.
How we use it
We use this information to create and secure your account, verify your email, manage your booking requests, provide account history, and send booking or service messages. New account and booking notifications are sent to MapleHaven staff so they can review requests.
Cookies and storage
The site uses an essential, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. In production it is marked Secure and SameSite=Lax. Your cookie-banner choice is stored in this browser’s local storage. The current app does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Service providers and retention
Account and booking records are stored in the configured PostgreSQL database. Email is sent through the configured SMTP provider. We retain account and booking information while it is needed to operate the service, respond to requests, and maintain transaction records.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by emailing support@maplehaven.it.com. We may need to retain some booking records for operational or legal reasons.
